Which portrait session is right for me?
Not sure which session best fits what you’re envisioning? Here’s a little guidance to help you choose!
✨ Mini Session
Perfect for those wanting something short and sweet. Minis are great for individuals, couples, maternity, announcements, milestones, or simply updating your portraits. With one outfit and a shorter session time, we’ll focus on capturing a beautiful variety without needing the full-session experience.
✨ Signature Session
My most popular option and perfect for those wanting a little more time to relax and settle in front of the camera. With up to two outfits and more time to explore our location, we can capture a mix of posed portraits, natural interactions, and candid moments. This is a wonderful choice for couples, maternity, motherhood, and milestone sessions.
✨ Deluxe Storytelling Session
For those who want the full experience. With up to 90 minutes, multiple outfits, and plenty of time to slow down and create, this session allows us to capture more variety and tell a fuller story. It's especially wonderful for anyone wanting multiple looks, meaningful details, or a more intentional and relaxed experience.

What should I wear?
I recommend choosing outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Neutral, earthy tones, soft textures, and flowy fabrics photograph beautifully during golden hour.
For the most timeless results, I recommend avoiding neon or extremely bright colors, large logos, and very busy patterns, as these can distract from the connection and emotion in your images.
For families and couples, coordinating colors typically photograph more naturally than matching outfits exactly.

How many photos will I receive?
Each session includes a set number of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered through an online gallery.
✨ Mini session: 12+ edited images
✨ Signature session: 20+ edited images
✨ Deluxe Storytelling session: 35+ edited images
Do I receive the unedited/raw photos?
Raw images are not included. Your final gallery includes professionally selected and edited images that represent my artistic style and the finished vision for your session.
Can I bring my partner, kids, or pets?
Yes! I love capturing the people (and furry friends 🤍) who are meaningful to you. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan the session accordingly.
Do you offer studio sessions?
Yes! While I love photographing outdoor sessions during golden hour, studio sessions are also available for those wanting a clean, indoor, or more editorial look. Studio rental fees are separate from the session investment unless otherwise stated. I’m happy to help recommend a studio that fits the vision for your session.
Where are sessions held?
Portrait sessions are available at outdoor locations throughout the DFW area, with most outdoor sessions scheduled around golden hour for that warm, dreamy light Solas & Grace Photography is known for.
Studio sessions are also available upon request. Studio rental fees, location permits, admission fees, and travel outside my standard service area may require an additional fee.

How and when will I receive my photos?
Your professionally edited images will be delivered through a beautiful, private online Pixieset gallery. You will receive a link via email within 1–2 weeks of your session, where you can easily view, download, and share your high-resolution digital files.
What happens if it rains or we need to reschedule?
If the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor shoot, or if an unexpected emergency comes up, don't worry! We will work together to reschedule your session to the next available date that fits your schedule. Your deposit will safely transfer to the new date.
Do you help with posing?
I’ll guide you throughout the entire experience with natural prompts and gentle direction so your photos feel authentic and relaxed. My goal is to capture genuine connection, not stiff poses.
Is the retainer refundable?
Retainers are non-refundable, as they reserve your date and time exclusively for you. Rescheduling policies may vary depending on the circumstances and are outlined in your photography contract.
